YES!! The lyrics are "for the ramparts we watched, were so GALLANTLY STREAMING" but she sang something along the lines of, "for the ramparts we watched, were the twilights last gleaming". I'm serious!! But no one noticed because she's CHRISTINA AGUILERA, and anything she sings sounds amazing anyway :p
She did mess up at the "O"re the ramparts we watched section of the song. I have no idea why people are making such a big deal out of it though. No one is perfect. If you think Christina ruined a perfectly good song then let's see you sing it perfectly in front of 100 million people! I know she is sort of expected to do well because she is famous but not one person in this world is perfect. All I hear from people is that she messed up and that she cared about no one but herself during the song. How would you know? Are you in her mind and knowing her thoughts? Also- to all the youtube viewers that commented and said she was dressed to go to some funeral I say this- Would you have rather have seen her dressed in some shorts and a ripped up t-shirt? I mean seriously this was professional here and she was being professional by dressing up. I do think she over sang with her voice at some points but she still gets props for trying and if you think you could do any better then get to it and show a video post for us to see. Other wise shut your mouths if you got nothing but hate coming out!
I think she just repeated a line, no big deal. Years ago, Rosanne Barr sung the National Anthem, and she was totally rude. She screamed it horribly, then after she sung it she grabbed her crotch and spit.
All Christina Aguilera did was repeated a line, and seriously if it was not even mentioned would anyone have noticed? I am not a fan of Christina Aguilera, but I think she did her best give her a break.

Yes. I fell out laughing! She messed up the part that says, "Oer the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming." If she wasn't trying so hard to do so many riffs and runs with her voice, she would have remembered the words and not messed up!
the second verse "what so proudly we watched", was wrong, it should have been "O're the ramparts we watched" and she sang "at the twilights last gleaming" in place of "were so gallantly streaming"

She most definitely did. And I am saddened by the number of people that responded "no". It is a testament to the decline of this country when people do not know our national anthem and yet are arrogant enough to answer "no".

Quite clear she's just another unprofessional entertainer that can't perform on THE big stage. She should take a cue from ole Linda Lovelace: "While I may blow a few, I don't choke on the big one".

I didn't catch it during the actual show until I read an article about it later on...Wow. And then on top of that, the Blue Angels fly over only to be seen by viewers watching it on TV...
