Our internet provided by the College is absolutely horrible, so we have to buy our own standard internet of 14mbps download speed and 60 gb of data transfer a month. I was just wondering if that would be enough I know it depends on the game and how often. Well I play just xbox live a maybe 10 hours a week and my roommate will be playing world or warcraft for at least a few hours a day. I will switch back to the school internet at night for my downloading purposes so if we use this internet for wdata transfer switch downloadeb browsing and gaming only will 60 gb be enough?
Defonately... i used to be on a 10GB p/m limit and I was on Quake Live all the time, xbox live, playstation network
Hardcore games really don't take up all that much bandwidth. You should have plenty enough unless you are on using dial up. I can only download at 800kb/s max. However when you are playing a game it is important to close your p2p downloads. If you decide to play games while downloading keep the upload rate low, this slows down game pldata transfer switch downloaday and will lag you out.. You should not be uploading more than 80kb/s if you are getting around 800kb/s download rate.
yes, gaming involves little data transfer. DL limits apply to dowloading large files such as streaming video or large torrents.
yea, that sounds all right, i know people who use 20gigs a month, so 60 between two people should be ok.
yes. if u dont download movies, or too many episodes.
lets make it big.... 2gb a day. 1 for each of u. = 30days. plenty.
